Need help on choosing the right fitting size? It is simple, the fitting size designates what size of PVC pipe it will fit over. For example if your PVC pipe is marked 3/4" or the inside diameter measures 3/4", then you need a 3/4" PVC fitting. This is because 3/4" fittings actually have socket openings with a diameter of 1.058" so they will fit snug over a 3/4" pipe with an inside diameter of 3/4".
